First of all I want to apologize to approximately 2/3 of you who never received our Christmas Newsletter. We were able to send 1/3 of them out before leaving for Bangladesh and subsequently for Phuket, Thailand where we intended to have a few days of rest and relaxation before the New Year. (I have enclosed the last newsletter with this one).

As you probably have heard by now, we were caught in the Tsunami in Phuket on December 26th. With God's help and Grace we were able to quickly procure passports and return home. Although we left the country with less than the clothes on our back (not really, but we did have to buy clothes to travel home in as well as toiletries, shoes and other essentials), we received most of our suitcases and hand-carry bags just weeks after returning home through a situation that can only be understood in terms of God's grace and mercy.

Update
These last four months have been exciting serving as Director of HealthCare Ministries. We have sent disaster relief teams as well as medical evangelism teams all over the world. I had my first opportunity to minister in Latin America with a medical team in Honduras. We worked with excellent New Jersey missionaries Sam and Evelyn Klinger (Happy Birthday Sam!) to accomplish their goal of planting a church in 'El Crematorio' - the dump - located in Tegucigalpa. Simply stated, HealthCare Ministries is an awesome ministry that shares the gospel through medical compassion outreach in places and methods that others are not able to.
