Pastor Cox has been
the pastor of Trinity Christian Center since April 3, 1999. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and has earned his
B.S. Degree in Biblical Studies and Human Resource Management at Trinity
College, Miami, FL.
Prior to coming to Elkin, Pastor Cox traveled as an evangelist and served in several other churches in
Florida and Georgia as senior pastor and
music minister. He is also a “GRAMMY” award winning song writer and
vocalist, as well as a “DOVE” award nominee.
Pastor Cox
and his wife Deborah have four children; Cara, is a nurse in the US Army and
lives with her husband in Washington, DC; Heather, lives at home and is a
college student at Surry Community College; Jonathan, is a college student
at Western Carolina University; and Joshua will be attending Appalachian
State University this year.
